SHUT UP!!!! Sunday Night Report
Posted on August 10, 2008 | Filed Under Sunday Night Updates
What a stinkin’ day?!!!! We had an awesome day at West Rome and XL. God just showed up all over the place. We had tons of people there this morning. The spirit of worship was just fantastic. Today was the second week of our series on “The American Family”. It was a pretty challenging message this morning. I believe that God is going to restore some marriages in the near future. I am very fired up about that.
Then, this afternoon was the XL motorcycle ride. We had 51 bikes show up and sold a good number of raffle tickets. We are raising money for “XL Gives Back” when we remodel a home for a needy family this fall. It was a super day and we got to meet a lot of people that had never been to XL before. Then, Big Daddy brought the message tonight. He made the Gospel about as clear as possible. Also, the band just rocked like crazy. The ride team and set design teams just went above and beyond in every area. This was a great event and Gina even says we might be able to do it again. I’m pretty sure Nick has already got that planned. Also, a huge thanks to the Freedom Seekers for helping us block traffic during the ride.
God just continues to blow our minds. I’m just glad I get to be any part of it.

Just think about how many bikes next year. WOW, 51 bikes for the first time is so amazing.
all i gotta say is great job everyone. it is such a blessing to have great people around you pulling with you every step of the way!!!! we not only had a day of beautiful weather… great guys riding… but we also had an awesome team working with us. everyone deserves a big pat on the back…. can’t wait till next year. and yes jarrod, nick is already planning!!!! we have alot to live up to after this year but next year… we will hit 100 bikers!
Methinks Big Daddy should crunk up a website to share the secrets of his culinary expertise.
The souls of no fewer than 16 hogs rested easier in Swine Heaven Sunday night, knowing that their Earthly gluts had been marinated, caressed, pampered, obsessed over, and lovingly grilled to savory perfection by a true charcoal maestro.
What a great ministry!!!!!
