Sunday Night Updates: Man, what a day!

I truly can’t imagine any better place in the world for me to be. This morning, we opened up a new Children’s Ministry area, and new Preschool Ministry area, both to go along with the new Sr. Adult area we opened a few weeks ago. The energy around the church was just crazy. We had a ton of new greeters in the hallways that did an awesome job. Everyone was focused on taking care of our guests and making sure everyone felt at home. That is what it takes and our teams did a great job today.
Every member of our team, from Staff to volunteer, worked like crazy over the last few weeks to get all of this ready. And, then, this morning, we had over 100 children during the worship service. God is already blessing everyone’s efforts. He is so cool like that. We also had about 5 people join the church this morning. It was just a great morning and I’m fired up about working with the best team in the world!!!
Then, tonight was super cool too! We had 250 adults in the main room and with all the kids included we had 326 people. This is our biggest group for a while and next week should only be bigger. We have our bike ride next Sunday and it’s gonna be awesome! By the way, if you have any friends that ride motorcycles, we have our ride Sunday at 3:00. We are doing this to raise money for “XL Gives Back” when we fix up someone’s home this Fall. It will be great and we hope to raise plenty of funds to get it done. Come see us and buy a raffle ticket at the same time.
God is good and He is NOT done working in Floyd County. I’m just fired up that I get to be a part of it.
